Registration

You are welcome to browse around our Food Direct market place. However, to proceed to checkout and schedule delivery you must register with Food Direct. We retain your delivery address and other information to make your shopping experience easier in future. We respect the privacy and security of your information.

Before you shop we recommend you register / login and check that a suitable delivery time is currently available. However it is not necessary to login to shop (login is required for checkout).

Please note: our system will automatically save your order in progress on your local computer (using a cookie) for a period of 24 hours (and another 24 hours from the time any subsequent change is made to the order) even if you are not logged in.

During registration if you check subscribe to Foodie Club you automatically accrue Foodie Club points very time you shop with Food Direct (points are redeemed for Foodie Club rewards at checkout), and we will keep you up-to-date with weekly special offers and Foodie News.

Shopping

Once you have registered you will be able to create a “Favourites” shopping list to make your shopping experience even easier. You will also be able to change your details as you require, view your previous orders (and use previous orders to quickly reorder), and create and manage recurring bookings.

 

Favourites: saving items that you will often order to your Favourites will dramatcially speed up the time it takes you to shop. To save items to your Favourites simply click the (“F+”) icon below any product picture.

To shop with Food Direct, please browse through our categories OR use our powerful search feature to find items.

Search: you can search for key words (such as organic or gluten free) and brands (such as Watties or Montana) as well as product types (such as oranges or red wine).

When you have found a product you wish to purchase simply click the (“+”) icon below the product picture to add any product to your shopping cart.

To review and finalise your order click on the View Shopping Cart icon, and then proceed to checkout when you are ready.

Delivery & Checkout

At Checkout please confirm your delivery time and payment option.
You must be over the age of 18 to use the checkout facility - you can pay by credit card, direct debit or internet banking.

11.00pm is the deadline for Auckland City orders for the next day - excludes Pandoro bread (4pm).
12 Midday is the deadline for Waiheke Island orders for the next day.
You can order up to five days in advance.

Deliveries are made throughout the day and will arrive at your door within the one hour timeslot you have selected. You will instantly recognise the friendly FoodDirect staff and the vibrant Food Direct “Fresh Inside” chiller vans.

Guarantee

In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with any item in your order simply contact Food Direct and we will arrange to exchange any product at your convenience (or provide a full refund on receipt of the relevant item).
