Fresh organic produce range
26-Jan-2010 We are proud to announce, in association with Ceres Organics we have introduced a fresh organic produce range. We hope you will check out our organics section!In order to ensure we can consistently source a wide range of fresh organic produce for our customers we have set the deadline for organic produce orders to Tuesday midnight for Thursday, Friday and Saturday delivery in Auckland City OR on Friday and Saturday (only) on Waiheke Island and in the North West.
Please have your order in before midnight Tuesday.
Please note: to avoid confusion for our customers that do not typically order organic produce you will now only find our organic produce in the Organic section of our Fruit and Vege category.
Food Direct believes in sustainability and ethical growing processes that will protect our environment for future generations. Our organic produce comes from a number of mostly local New Zealand suppliers that are both ecologically and socially responsible.
We source from highly regarded and reputable organic wholesalers such as Ceres Organics and growers with an assortment of certifications – this enables us to provide a wider range and to support local growers as they move towards international organic certification
